LA PAZ, BOLIVIA (ANB / Erbol).- Bolivia ocupa el puesto 108 en el Índice de
Desarrollo Humano (IDH) 2013 del Programa de las Naciones Unidas para el
Desarrollo (PNUD), entre 187 países.
Según el Informe de Desarrollo Humano 2013, Noruega figura en el primer
lugar y Níger en el último. Mientras, Bolivia, sin cambios respecto al pasado
año, se sitúa en el grupo de países de Desarrollo Humano medio, de acuerdo con
la clasificación que mide indicadores nacionales de salud, educación e ingresos
en todo el mundo.
Esta es una de las conclusiones del Informe Mundial sobre Desarrollo Humano
2013, titulado “El ascenso del Sur: Progreso humano en un mundo diverso”
publicado el 14 de marzo en la Ciudad de México.
El valor del Índice de Desarrollo Humano del país ha aumentado de 0,671 a
0,675 entre 2011 y 2012, debido principalmente al incremento de 3% en el
ingreso per cápita entre esos dos años.
Por otra parte, entre 1980 y 2012, la esperanza de vida al nacer se
incrementó en 14,9 años, los años promedio de escolaridad aumentaron en 4,7
años y los años esperados de educación en 4,1 años.
A pesar de esos avances y debido a los cambios registrados en otros países,
Bolivia se mantiene el mismo puesto que el año anterior en la clasificación del
Índice de Desarrollo Humano.
